Yes! Go to Lee Valley and inspect your axe before buying. The one they brought me from the back store had the leather sheath scratched, and the wood grain was not totally parallel to the shaft. They changed it right there, and the one I got was "perfect"

i was at lee valley today for the first time and they had a great selection GB axes too bad they were behind a glass case... almost everything in the store is screwed down or behind glass. If you cant find a SFA look at the GB outdoor axe. I have decided to go with this one.Its not on there website for some reason??

I would highly recomend picking one up from a storefront, or known internet retailer as opposed to ebay. When your are spending this much it's nice to be able to actually talk to the person that pic's your axe.
