Hi Fellows and Axe Enthusiasts,
I am a great axe aficionado and i am always eager to lear more about axes, hatchets and Tomahawks.
Thanks to bladeforums and good books, like "American Axes" by Henry J Kauffman, i am aware that you US guys have your many Patterns, like the Jersey, conneticut and so on ... quite interesting to read about that.
Here in Germany, where i live, we also have several different Patterns, according to the area; we call them for instance "Axt, Rheinische Form" or "Axt, Harzer Form".
And what I also like a lot, are other european Patterns, like those awesome axes from SWEDEN . So I did a Video about the axes from GRÄNSFORS BRUKS. Hope you like it:

Their axes a really razor sharp. In the forest, i mostly use their "Scandinavian Forest Axe", and that is one gorgeous chopper.
Cheers, Erik
