Hey all!

Fairly new to BF and hope this is posted in the right forum.

I’ve got a small collection of knives building up and just started to look into the mid to high end knives for EDC. I went down the rabbit hole and just can’t decide on what to get next. Looking to see what people’s top 5s would be for and EDC folder.

Knives currently in EDC rotation:
Spyderco Manix 2 M390
Kizer Splinter N690
Kershaw Blur S30v

looking for sub $300 recommendations.

Thanks!

ZT 452 and the Real Steel Megalodon (ti version) are 2 sub $300 knives that have blown me away. Megalodon is even smoother than the 452 with m390 steel at sub $200.

As far as large production companies go, I’ve always heard that Spyderco and ZT are top tier. ZT seems to be the fav here so far. I appreciate the recommendations so far!

Cold Steel AD-10 or AD-15, depending on which lock you'd prefer

Benchmade Bugout is what I'm carrying most often these days.

The Benchmade 940 is great, and so is the Crooked River.

A trip over to the Benchmade Custom Shop will allow you to brew up one of these models just like you like it.

I love my ZTs. 470, 562cf, 801ti, 0095, 0456CF all get lots of carry time. Have recently got into Benchmades, starting with the knifeworks contego, which is excellent for a steal of a price. Got a crooked river, which led to a custom crooked river which I love. Got a super Freek yesterday and it's great. Thinking about picking up a mini Crooked River today or tomorrow.

Lots of options...

A user sebenza or shiny new socom elite manual would be my recommendations. Tough to go wrong with a pm2 as well.

I’ve been seeing used Hinderer’s going for $300/350 on the exchange. Seems to be the going price nowadays.

Real Steel Megalodon 2017. M390 & as smooth as my Shiro's. All TI, 3.9" blade, 4.3 oz of pure smoothness for $189.
