Graduation Gift

Just finished this set for my nephew's graduation gift. Both are forged from Aldos 1084 and have corian scales with palm wood inlays.
Made the box from popular wood.
The black handled knife is for Saturday nights and the white handled knife is for Sunday morning.http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif

How does corian feel in hand? Does it feel good? I work in a cabinet shop but we use quite a bit of corian in different patterns and colours and i never thought of using it on one of my personal knives.

The corian does feel man made. Its not as warm feeling as bone or wood its also heavy. The white works well but the black is very hard and will burn when sanding if your not careful.
