Soon I will be graduating from college, and I have decided that I will ask my significant other for a new knife. I can't go very extravagant (as she is still in school too), and I have decided I want something that will be a user. I have narrowed it down somewhat. I really like the red bone cv trapper by Case, and a similar pattern by Moore Maker (yellow bone trapper with 1095). What is everyone's opinion on the "new" moore maker knives? Has anyone handled them? My previous experince with Moore Maker has been extremely positive. Additionally, I really like the wharncliff trapper pattern by case, but I am still undecided on how I feel about the ss for an EDC knife. Thanks for the replies and opinions.

Everything I have heard has been positive, will be ordering one of their Soddies in yellow bone in the near future ( it is number 3 on the order list now) and a Equestrian Trapper (has a hoof pick in place of second blade) for my daughter for her birthday if they get them back in stock soon. 1095 is one of my favorite knife steels, easy to sharpen and good edge holding properties. I have handled several of the new knives and thought the attention to detail was great, fit and finish were excellent.
