Howdy folks!

Today is my graduation! Four years of pharmacy school and 8 total years of higher education are complete. I'm now a Doctor of Pharmacy. In one month, I start my residency.

My wife picked me up a graduation present in secret, and she did good! There is a local artisan shop in town, and they sometimes sell re-handled knives. Well look at the one my wife found...

Turquoise and I believe abalone. I don't know that I will be able to bring myself to carry it into the bush with me! The serrations are not my norm, but Spyderco does an amazingly good job with them. These are sharp! Lock up is perfect, alignment is perfect.

Thanks for checking it out!

Fantastic news all around. Congrats on the degree!

I'm looking forward to seeing some 'in-use' pics - especially batoning. ;)

Congrats on the graduation! Sweet knife..... I might get flogged for this but that one would probably stay at home! It's a looker!

Congrats! I'm a Pharm Tech myself. Maybe one day I can work for you. JK! Enjoy the knife, Spydie serrations are the only serrations I will carry.

Congratulations on both the graduation and the special knife, well done all around. Good luck in your new career too!

Thanks so much guys! I really appreciate it. This forum, of course, has helped to keep my sanity over the last couple of years. :)

Never too sharp: Good eye! It is indeed who did the work. They did a good job!

HD: I will post some uploaded pics over at the Shotgun Shack in a bit, and thanks!

Congrats man. Pharmacists have saved my a$$ a time or two when the doctor didn't know what scrip he was writing.

Congrats man, glad to see all that work is paying off!

With a wife like that you better treat her good!
