Hey all... I'm really not sure where to post something like this so if this is not the right place just let me know.
About 20 years ago my Brother gave me a Bowie made by a gentleman named Grady McCotter. He said he got it directly from Mr. McCotter. I had actually lost the knife for about 10 years when I hid it in my house before I went on vacation (I used to do that with all of my weapons before I got a big Gun Safe). I completely forgot I even had it until recently when I was going through a drawer where I kept paper maps to throw them away (No one uses them anymore). One handful of maps felt heavy so I sorted through it and Low-and-behold, There's that old McCotter Bowie. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has any information about it. Thanks in advance!

Grady Made many knives throughout his career. Are you posting this because of an interest in selling?

No, I hadn't given any thought to selling it. I was mostly wondering if it was a "Typical" style of his, if there were many like it, etc. Just general history.
