So, a friend of mine here in Nashville recently got the blue Rhino from Jon, and I've been breaking commandments over it ever since... Well, via a friend... I was able to quench that covetous thirst...
Specs:
Blade: 2"
OAL: 5.25"
Steel: XHP
Weight: 3.1oz
The Stubby is an interesting design from Mr. Graham. Small, but with a big bite. It disappears into the pocket with Jon's tail clip.
The action end of this micro-beast is really pretty cool. The rhino grind with it's dual "scoop" swedges adds a ton aesthetically, while maintaining the traditionally useful nature of a Razel blade.
Now, it's my understanding that Jon redesigned the Stubby recently, increased the size some, added bearings, and man... The action and ergos on this thing are superb. Nailing that is tricky on such a small knife.
Jon is a sculpting and anodizing master. I love the green/bronze motif on this one.
SuperConductor standoffs are a real nice touch too.
And lastly, in hand. Like I said, just enough knife to do what you need.
