Finally got what I've been after, an annual mammoth Damascus :) In a perfect world, the ivory would be more bark-ish, but regardless, I'm very happy! The light colored ivory is a great contrast to the dark and crisp Damascus. Such a beautiful piece.

Nice! That knife is the blue/green bark is my CRK grail. Glad you found yours! My hunt continues.
 
Thanks guys! wtlj, that is the question I keep asking myself. As of now, it just sits there looking pretty. I'm not sure how long I will be able to hold out, though. Unfortunately, the well above retail price I paid for it, is making it harder to pocket this beauty. I'm still unsure how this will play out. Only time will tell I reckon.
 
I have a rust colored lanyard with gold pin and bead. I think that might give this knife a subtle upgrade. I'll post pics to get opinions if I end up installing it.
 
Wow, that's a stunner. I'm not sure I could carry it. Really a gorgeous piece. I just know the first time I carried it I'd drop it onto the concrete and break a scale. Yikes.

Congrats, gorgeous sebenza. Carry it, you only live once and cant take it with you. You bought it to enjoy it, so carry it and enjoy it. Just be carefull and it will look great and serve you well for a long long time.
 
A Grail for sure, nice find! A small annual with mammoth is my Grail, but they are few and far between.
 
Good score, congratulations. If you bought it to sell later at a profit, store it. If you got it because you like it, carry and enjoy. Like Lockup said...
 
Beautiful knife. Definitely one of my favorites.

If I was the lucky owner, I would carry it. Just putting that little bug in your ear. :)
 
I would carry it. I carry mine every day. No matter what you do, it will hold its value. And it only takes a 50 dollar or so Spa Treatment at CRK in Idaho to get it all perfect again, back to its tip-top shape and value. Enjoy it!
 
I forgot I had this cool lanyard laying around. I think it compliments the knife well with the gold pin and gold crk emblem.

Ha! I was thinking along those same lines :) Although I do have something new I'm looking for already. I think the hunt is part of the fun of collecting, regardless how "cool" the knife is. I don't think I'll ever be satisfied if I'm not actively seeking a particular piece.
 
The combination is absolutely perfect, beautiful knife. Nothing else needs to be said.
