Grail - Armor tip Bowie grind full bronze ti...

Well, in some crazy way, I was able to score this grail. Rick mentioned before the lottery on Saturday at Blade that he had ground some of these armor tip Bowie's and that it is a rather hard grind to complete, therefore he said he doesn't grind this one very much. Fortunately this one was still available when I went up to the table. This one is a full bronze Ti, has bronze ti standoffs, and a bronze ti lock bar stabilizer. Needless to say this one is a keeper and an absolute stunner! Here are some pics and they don't really do this thing justice. :eek: A Showstoppa!!!

The full bronze is kickass!!

P.S. it's really hard to tell its a AP Bowie in those pics

That is an amazing custom satin bowie. It appears to be a bowie compared to the armoured bowie like this one:

RDA, I think you are right. Maybe he had an armored bowie up there and it was gone before I went up. Thanks for the clarification!

I personally don't believe there is much difference, either grind has considerable thickness right out towards the tip as your one picture demonstrates, the difference is largely cosmetic. Beautiful satin custom bowie.

That knife is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the bronze Ti slabs are just awesome!!!!!!!! Great score!!!!!!
