I drove down to Tucson to visit my son last week. On the way I stopped at a knife shop out in the middle of nowhere (Holbrook, AZ). I sold all my knives 10 years ago due to unemployment and have been steadily repurchasing my favorites. I am all stocked up with arachnids so was pleased to find my favorite Benchmades. Anyone else have grails that they just have to own?

Benchmade 800-1001. Linerlock AFCK with M390 blade, blue anodized liners, scalloped G-10 scales and a polished deep cary clip.

I snap these bad boys up when ever I get the chance! So far I have two...

It would be the double action 7505, if it weren't for the clip orientation.

Gronk, I had a similar situation where I sold ALL of my Snody's to cover some equipment and work truck repairs several years back:grumpy:

Hey you do what ya gotta do. I knew when the tide turned I would re-acquire them and so far have been doing so in the last year.

I have a few more to go but I'm getting closer;)

Is that why I cant find one?:D

The 710-2 was a grail of mine, and I promised myself I would use it.

A current Grail Benchmade would be the 940-121. I saw one at a local shop in Montana and almost snatched it up as it was "on sale" for $499.00. The only thing that holds me back from buying one os the idea of plopping that much money on a knife that I won't use.

If I could get my hands on an M4 520 and have the blade hardened to 64, that's on my list too.

This is the old 750 Pinnacle, still NIB. Satin blade's hard to find as is the knife itself.

this is probably my most notable personal grail to date. was acquired in unused condition off the bay not too far back.

Grails for me would be:
425/426/ Snody series
610-615/630/635 Rukus/Skirmish series
800 Old School AFCK series
805 TSEK series
806 AKCK series
940/943 Osbourne series
975 Emerson series
Not too hot any most of the others.

Paul if that Resistor ever ends up turning your stomach, let me know. ;)
