Finally found an old camera. Sorry for the crap pics but they will give you the idea.

HK MARK 23. It is a beast of a pistol yet it feels amazing. I cant wait to get a chance to fire it. If it shoots half as good as it looks and feels I may never need to buy another pistol again.LOL

I have the smaller verision Tactical model and love it. Shoots tight groups with185 Winchest JHP silvertips. I qualified with it every year for my CHL and it always shoots a perfect score. The HK barrel bushing is awesome. If you get the supressor with you will find you can"t hear the gun go off is you are standing next to a Ford diesel.

HK USP CT, i have the same one, best damn handgun ive ever used, extended mag and +p+ round!! im getting a class 3 for supressor once i leave the army an get back to Va.

An Garth, brother you must have gorilla mits!! i love the function of that gun but i wear large gloves and that thing was to much for me. if you ever feel that way you wont have a proble selling it and the USP CT is is awesome, or you can just run the full size tactical model, still has threaded barrel and overall a little leaner.

ive carried my CT on most of my south america deployments and its been underwater, covered in mud and abused to hell an back and always shot perfectly. great choice bro, HK is my favorite maker, i wish i could afford their rifles but for now ill stick w the LWRC!!
 
Glad to hear from a fellow HK fan. I picked up the tactical about a year ago and fell in love. I think that is what pushed me to get the Mk 23.

That's a large gun but still feels good in your hand. I shot a new USP at the range, swapping guns with the guy on the lane next to me. One of the two best guns I ever shot for effortlessly packing holes in a tighter group than I'm used to.

Garth, congrats on your score-I don't have to tell you that that is an extremely accurate handgun. HK is top of the line stuff- As a production company there is nothing out there that touches them and you got one of their best guns available, well not so available. I just wish they tailored more to civilians.....I would love to own a G36. Going to receive the MR556 next week-can't wait!! Congrats again.
 
MK23s are cool guns. I had a chance to get one a couple years ago on the cheap and I didn't because the thing was just so HUGE. Once you get a can on that thing, it's gonna be about 2' long! :D
 
Nice! I've always had my eye on a MK23. I've had a compact for years & it's always run like a singer! Can't wait for some pics. And as far as the can goes, I'm now below the 45 day mark on my first.
 
The Mk 23 is a very special gun.

I don't think any handgun has undergone the testing that the Mk 23 has.

I certainly enjoy owning mine.

It is a handful though.

Now you'll be wanting the Insight LAM and Knight's can to match.

Getting my first HK very soon, and I am soooo excited. Always wanted one! :D
 
Congrats Garth! I sold my standard USP a few years back planing to get a Mk23. Still haven't picked one up.
