For a fixed blade I have been digging Nocturnal Knives.

No such thing for me (as I have learned), because as soon as I get a "grail" there appears a new grail on the horizon. And then as soon as I get that new one, there's another... and another... and then another. But, then again, that's the fun of this obsession to begin with!

Happy hunting.

I agree with link2derek. Grail is an illusion that never arrives for me. I hope it does soon...this habit is costing my $$$.

For a long time it was a CF small Sebenza 21, now I have one so my current Gail is a violet Lionsteel TiSpine.

It was a Benchmade 760 from the moment I laid eyes on it. I remember back when I first started all this, I was watching X4CTO's collection vid and he had two of them. I thought, wow those are awesome!

But this was when I thought I'd never own a Griptillian because they were too expensive. Now I have a $200 limited Ares in my collection. (Ares being another grail). Now, I have a deal being set up where I'm buying a slightly used 760 from a great member here, for a kick ass price. I can't wait.

I don't see it happening, but my grail would be a tip-down Terzuola ATCF flat grind

I think right now it would be a custom made Canoe, there are a few things I want to change in the design to make it perfect for me.

I have 2:

  1. Ken Onion Mid Tech Ripple, Ti handle & CPM154V steel (which I may be in the process of getting).
  2. Something by Todd Begg. Not sure which one yet, but one of his nicer models.

I recently got an SNG, which had only been a grail a short time. So that's one off the list. I only have 2 others: a CF Tighe Breaker and a Spyderco Forager. I think when I get those I can quit searching for the right knife and just sit back and ride the bladery waves as they come.
