Grail knife?

Well I am sending off the red spear point white owl today for a cocobola gec #12
Which I've admired for a long time

And I still wanna try out a carbon steel moose pattern. See what kephart was talking about

But that's a want not a need

Lol you right. I perhaps jumped the gun on terminology.

It was exactly what I was looking for, it checked all the boxes. And I am beyond thrilled

But it arrived last night so I haven't had any time to actually carry or use it yet, just coon eyeing and fingering and taking some pics.

So yes, declaring it my grail is premature. But I am very happy 😁

In all honesty I am a tad worried about losing it or dropping the camel bone on something hard like concrete (might have to track down a slip).

That would be pretty devastating. That's why I have gravitated to micarta or hardwood or even delrin handles for the most part

But this is just so much prettier 😍

Ta Davison makes nice orange handled slipjoint, one in G10 just sold in the exchange

Glad you found what you were looking for, but dropping any knife of any material on concrete just has to be ruled out :eek:o_O

Best get that slip then....:)
