My gramps was the oldest living NASCAR driver when he died last Sunday at the age of 95. He was an incredible man who gave up the sport that he loved to be a father to his children, and a husband to his wife. He taught me a lot. I have learned the value of hard work, the price of devotion to family, and the importance of a faith in Jesus Christ. Gramps became a Christian over 50 years ago, and was steadfast in his determination to correct mistakes he had made and to pass a legacy of faith to his family. He has done both.

Here are some links to some information, none of which will tell you what a true believer he was.

In retrospect, you would be better off to just Google him and read what comes up. Try Lloyd Moore+NASCAR

I am sorry for your loss. I would have loved to have met him. Sounds like he was one heck of a guy!

There was a small article about him in the most recent sports illustrated. Kinda cool
