Okey, I have never seen these on the website, so my first look at them was when Yangdu put up the best buys earlier today. I have instantly fallen in love with this small, "cute" knife.

So to feed my present infatuation, I was hoping if those who have been lucky enough to get one could (a) post some pics, and (b) give me some reviews on how it handles. I know 9" isn't much for chopping, but what have you used it for? what's worked? what hasn't? Either way, 9"and 6 ounces.... $48.... if i had been 2 minutes slower forum checking i'd have it :P

Also, this is more for someone like Yangdu or someone more closely associated with HI... but why is the GBC not in production? The website only lists 18"and 21" for the Chitlangi on the shop site... its not even on the main HI site (unless i missed it)

And lastly, again for Yangdu or someone close to HI... is it possible to request a length or style of knife not on the HI website/shop site? For instance, if i were to request a GBC as was just sold (9", 6 ounce GBC), what would the time frame and cost be?

I've got a Bilton about the size of the Baby Chit but haven't had a chance to give it a workout. It seems like it would be better suited to more knife like tasks. You're not going to do much chopping with it, it's too light.

Here's a picture of my Grand Baby Chitlange along with my full size Chitlangi. Both were made by Vim. I think the GBC is a cute little piece and I use mine to open email attachments.

Looking at Skyler's pict of the baby chitlangi, I thought it's the closest thing HI offers to the Hollywood ornate mystical dagger, the one used to take the life of the sacraficial virgin to the God Brew-Ha-Ha.
