I recently made a trip to the Grand Canyon and got a couple pictures to share. It was a beautiful area and I hope to return for longer next time so that I can spend more time exploring.

The Red Rocks of Sedona. Did a Pink Jeep tour or the rocks, which was one of the most entertaining and fun couple of hours I ever had. I highly recommend the tours.

I was not able to make another trip this weekend to Knob Creek, so I decided to pick up a bottle of whiskey and have a nice relaxing weekend. Can't wait to see all the pictures from the show!

I still haven't made it there!! must make it a manditory trip in the next couple years!!
 
Took the family to the Grand canyon about four years ago just before the glass bottom platform was installed.

What an amazing place. The Canyon and Vegas were my two favourite parts of the whole trip.

BTW Great photos and knife :thumbup:
 
resinwife and I visited the Grand Canyon in Oct. 97. It just knocked me out, SO impressive. Thanks for the pics.
 
WOW JD, great pics man, I'll bet you were EDC'ing some sweet ass orange knives/guns knowing you.... thanks a bunch for sharing!
 
Unfortunately, I had to fly out there so no knives or guns or anything else fun to play with. It was a beautiful area. There were lots of places that I wanted to stop and explore, but I just did not have the time. I can't wait to get a chance for another trip. Here are a couple more pictures.

Awesome pics Jd, that bull elk is a nice one. I've been to the grand canyon its quite a site to see. My son just came back from hiking there. He and his buds hiked 35 miles in 3 and a half days. He really took some great pics. Sounds like you had a great time. :cool: Thanks for sharing, :thumbup:
 
Great pictures!

I went for a hike yesterday ... 2.5 miles back at a fire pit there was an empty bottle of Knob Creek. Then on the way home we stopped at a restaurant and when we sat at the bar for a beer and some snacks there was a bottle of KC right in front of me. Then I click this thread and see another one. I get the feeling that I need to grab one!
 
It is an excellent whiskey. I had a couple glasses last night and now that I have finished my "chores" for the day I am about to pour myself another. The cold weather we had last week has got me into winter whiskey mode.
 
Awesome pics! Moose and squirrel FTW!!! Oh wait that be an elk. Beautiful area!
