Grand Slam Buck Aurum set & Buckle???

Hi
Ive seen these sets a number of times but never offered with a Aurum deep etched Belt Buckle as well, does anyone have one of these buckles or the set with the buckle? Does anyone know how many sets were made with the belt buckle offered with it??? Its my understanding there were very few of them but Im not certain??

Timstools, 2500 sets and they sold for $450.00 and book for $200.00 in my book... 1982 was the year they came out... This is in the Blade's Guide to Knives and their Values... Hope this helps you...

Hi
Thanks, was that 2500 with the belt buckle or without the buckle, Ive been told that there were only two of these belt Buckles made. I have the prototype one, so that would mean this one is the only other one in existence??? Im guessing there were many more sets with the buckle not just 2 in total???
Regards Tim

All the 2500 sets came with the belt buckle.

I only have the buckle (it looks better than on the picture)

Thanks your correct, they all appear to come with the buckle, my mistake.
Yours has 1981 on it same as mine, the one in the listing doesnt.
Thanks Regards Tim

Hi TT,

Like Herbert I only have the buckle. I think in a correct and complete set the belt buckle should be stamped with the same number as the knife set. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

That would declare the space between "Limited Edition" and the lower part of the text frame. Is the set number usually engraved there?
