Today was a horrible day. My grandmother has been recovering from open heart surgery. Ever since my father passed away I've been trying to become closer to her... Don't want to take family for granted. Today she called me very worried about my uncle Alan. He had been driving her up to the hospitals, back and forth to get prescriptions, and she hadn't heard from him for a day. I immediately knew...
He passed away sometime in his sleep, likely a heart attack but they don't know yet. She's now survived two of her children, and an open heart surgery. She's 79 years old and is still vibrant and kicking, but with this kind of heart ache I can't imagine what she's going through. I mean I lost both my parents in only a few short years, but I don't think that can compare to losing a child. I hope she can experience a few more years of happiness... They say a parent should never bury a child, now she's lost two. All she has left is my other uncle, my cousin and I.
Anyway, if you folks would... Send prayers, send smoke, wish her luck... Etc
