This might be a little harder to pull off than knives on my cat.

well atleast you didn't try to stack them ontop of her like your cat :D pretty badass lookin granny hehehe

recently i sharpened up my grandmas kitchen knives and she cut her finger then dropped it on her toe and cut it too(she wears sandles around the house) it wasn't a bad cut but my mother was mad because i got the knives too sharp

Wow.....that is a great picture! I can't play since I don't have any grandparents left:(

I don't have any grand parents left either. But I do have a live-in mother-in-law  Wait, on second thought I don't WANT to give her a knife!

Recently just got into a discussion about knives with my grandma. She pulled out an old wooden handled carbon steel blade she had stowed away in a safe place. It was super thin stock and a straight rounded handle with a mostly blunt tip but still had lots of belly... not like a lot of older blades you see, and the thing still had a very sharp edge on it at about 7 inches long. She explained to me that it was her moms and that her mom would sit and slice up peaches all day long. She said her mom would keep it so sharp she frequently cut her thumbs with it and had to wrap handkerchiefs around her thumbs to keep them from bleeding into the peaches and so that she could keep working. This was the same woman who I have been told had solid black eyes and was meaner than a snake...

Too bad i hadn't known back then, but while my grandma was
still alive, she used to have a set of throwing knives in a cupboard.
Nice ondes too.. "For the kids to play with"

The first pocket knife I remember seeing was my grandmother's. She always had one in her purse.

Whatever it is that she wants, the answer is, "YES, MA'AM!"

Haha! Cool granny, CM! Sadly, I have no grandmas left. :( I know my maternal grandma, in particular, would have gotten a kick out of this, though.

I know if my Granny had any kind of knife in her hand/s ya best hope she was gonna be cutting up ome pie or meat. But I was ta always say "Yes Ma'am" and if I didn't I'd best have a good reason why!!
