Post up your grandpa’s old axes and hammers. I have rehafted all these except the little hatchet and the sledge is not fully hung yet. Still haven’t hung the double bit yet.

Unfortunately I never had a chance to know either of mine, one of my life's great regrets. I'll live vicariously through less maudlin posts lol
 
I only know one as the other died before I was born. I have a few of his tools, no axes however. My grandpa who's living is still hanging on to his tools, but I did get this hatchet handle from his barn. It was mated with a GBA head from a very good friend, and it leads a happy life as my go-to hatchet.

Sorry to hear that. I have quite a few old tools from mine. A constant reminder of him and all the the time we spent together.
