I was given this knife when my grandpa died back in 1963. He was a farmer and I guess this was his everyday knife. It's been in a cigar box since then but I got it out a few weeks ago to have a look at it. It was kind of rusty but with some 3 in 1 oil I have gotten it pretty clean (it looks better than this picture now). I am able to read the Imperial Prov. USA easily. The other side of the blade has a P with two numbers stacked, 2170637 2281782.
The Imperial Prov. USA tells me it was made between 1946 & 1956. I don't know if these knives had model names or not. The blades don't look like they were ever sharpened but are still really sharp. One thing that worries me is the amount of rust that has washed out of the spring and hinges but the blades still snap open and shut pretty good.
