Grandpa's Schrade Peanut

Hey all,

Just thought you might like to take a Gander at my Grandpa's peanut. Overall, it's in great shape. The blades are still sharp as all get-out. The man knew how to take care of a blade!

Anyone have any idea how old this one might be? The blades are both stamped with:

SCHRADE
CUT CO
WALDEN, NY

I know that dates it as a fairly old one, but any more specific ideas?

That knife needs some pocket time, so it can live again along with memories of your granddad. Sharpen it good and use it a bit now and then. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

that stamping is 1904-1946. if you move post to Schrade Collector forum, there are lots of friendly, v. knowledgeable Schradites who can probably narrow it down considerably. roland
