Hello,
My name is Wesley Preston and I’m Rusty Preston’s oldest grandson (Preston Custom Knives out of Port Isabel Texas)
I grew up watching my grandfather build knives by hand and pour himself into every detail. Over time I’ve come to realize just how much of himself went into that work, and after many conversations with him lately I’ve made it my goal to put some of that craftsmanship back into his hands.
I’m currently trying to track down and buy back as many of his knives as I can. My goal is to surprise him with a collection that represents his work over the years and gives him the chance to see it all in one place again.
If anyone here owns one of his knives or knows someone who does I would be very grateful to connect.
Thank you for your time and for being part of a community that values this kind of craftsmanship.
Also, I am new to forum posting so my apologies if this being posted in the wrong place!
Best,
Wesley Preston
