Watched a video on the making of the Grankvist Axe on You Tube last night. Video has the man who forges the axe head, the man who carves the handle/shaft, and the lady who makes the sheath. Shows the owner chopping live trees and splitting wood, looks like it works well. The head weighs 1.3 KG (2.86 pounds) and overall length is 56CM (22 Inches). again looks like a nice axe BUT not sure it is worth $649!. Cutting boards for about $200 too.
