Just a heads up.

Duluth Pack just emailed me that they have pretty much the entire line of Gransfors axes -- including their historical style axes -- in stock (probably why it's been so hard to get them, all of the production was probably going to fiil the DP order.)

DO NOT LOOK IF YOU HAVE AN AVERSION TO SMOKING HIGH PRICES -- ESPECIALLY FOR THE HISTORICAL PIECES!!

But it's a good way to see the whole line and drool.

Due to BF rules, i probably can't link right to it, so you'll have to google DP.

That's Duluth for ya'. It's a very cool store, but their prices on everything are outrageous. Keep in mind it's located right on the main tourist strip here, so you know who they're appealing to and attracting. Most people who actually live here would never pay such high prices.

that franziska would be cool to add to the collection.....and the battle axe:rolleyes:

Actually, what they charge is Gransfors-Bruks' MSRP.

Their historical pieces are crazy expensive, but their more common working axes aren't bad, and go for about what the same models go for on other web sites. Gransfors are in enough demand that they don't need to cut prices.

the ancient axe collection prices reflect what i have found looking around other sites a few years ago too, even what a couple of dealers had that huge price tag on their hawks.

I can see something like the battle axe being expensive but the hawks seem to be too much for what you are getting. The heads just seem oversized imo for a good hawk.
