Picked this up a few weeks ago from Highland Woodworking in Atlanta. It's really a work of art. I contacted Gransfors to find out a little more about it. I received an email back stating that they are not making any of these historical productions right now as the demand for traditional axes is very high. I was also informed that Urlika Stridsberg, the axesmith who made it, no longer works at Gransfors. From the limited information I could glean she was one of the only "smiths" to make this axe. Any thoughts on if this will increase in value over time. I'm not familiar with the custom axe market.
