Gransfors Bruks prices ?

I got my SFA from bensbackwoods. not sure if its the best price but you'll be happy with the customer service. real nice guy.
 
I found "Image Gear" out of Utah the cheapest with free shipping on GB axes. Hes very fast and does a good job. He also sells new GB on ebay. With your first buy he sends a 5% off coupon for your next purchase. After getting the GB Kuben hand hatchet I applied the 5%off to the GB Double bit felling axe I got from him. The wiseman company down south kills ya on shipping so dont fall for the bait and switch of the low product price as it comes out more expensive often at check out. Generally I'd rather not buy a high end product on-line as blemished products get passed around, but my closest GB dealer doesnt stock alot, nor the double bit. It worked out fine for me.
 
I live within thirty minutes of the U.S. distributer of Gransfors Bruks.
However, they do not have the best prices.

The only other place in my area that sells GB's is a Royal Ace Hardware Store.
They have either old prices or the models mixed up. I usually get pretty good
deals there. I think I got twenty dollars off the last SFA I bought from them.

No one else seems to buy the GB's from them, I have almost bought all the
ones they had(:o), which have been in there for at least two years.

I am a bit leery about buying an axe on line, but if you do make sure you
talk with an employee and make sure they get your order right.

Even the best have mistakes.:rolleyes:
 
zeke, its funny I have difficulty googling and finding imagine gear sometimes. So I find it easiest to go to ebay and type in gransfors bruks then imagine gear shows up:)
 
I also bought 2 from Imagine gear, after I ordered I found out he was litterally just down the street, he calls me and said, hey Im heading to the outdoor expo, want me to swing them by? I tell him Im at work but I can pick them up from him tomorrow if he would not mind. Gave me his address and met him at home (where the business is ran) and was on my way, refunded my shipping that day. Highly recommend him.

Also bought 2 from Bensbackwoods. He had but ran out of the SFA no my order, so it took a few months for it to come in, but it showed up today. Like the size of the SFA ALOT. Gonna be on my belt alot I think.
