No doubt about it that this axe is high quality and razor sharp. I know it's hand forged but... is this acceptable to you guys? Or is this a normal thing? Will it affect the performance of the axe?

The bit alignment with the handle is pretty good. If it's no problem then it's time to chop some wood!
