Today I received a Gransfors Bruks Scandinavian Forest Axe for my birthday. It came with a leather sheath and the axe book. I am impressed with the attention to detail and razor sharp edge! Here are some photos:

I highly recommend this axe! The slim profile of the head makes it a fantastic cutter and it's perfect for limbing felled trees, chopping down small trees, carving, making kindling, and many other woodsman's tasks. The handle has a smooth finish and is very comfortable in the hands. It costs around $130, and it is well worth the money. I chose this over the Small Forest Axe because I wanted something a little bigger.
