Bought this axe earlier this year. Used it to limb a tree and accidentally nicked the edge. Never sharpened. Except for the small nick the edge is razor sharp as received from the factory. The handle has some pine sap on it, but just cosmetic and should not affect the performance of the axe.
Comes with the factory leather sheath and the Axe Book (not pictured).
