Gransfors Bruks Warranty

Just wanted to say how pleased I am with Gransfors. A while ago I ordered a double bit working axe from some brittish store, after a year or so of use the axe was getting well worn and a crack was starting to run down the handle under the head. I sent Gransfors an e-mail asking if they manufacture replacement handles and happened to mention that there was a nick in the blade from hitting something hard in a tree. They got back to me and told to send it in and it would be replaced under warranty and in a week I had a brand new axe sharp enough to shave hair off my arm (the first one I ordered arrived duller). I was pretty happy to say the least as I hadn't even thought about the warranty. Just wanted to let anyone know who's looking into a GB that their warranty is as good as thier quality and it's definitly a great buy.

Thanks for the heads up. I've been looking into getting one of their broad axes. Glad to hear that they'll replace with little to no heartache.
