Hi all i have'nt really posted here on this forum although i've been around blade forum for a few years. I'm kind of getting into axes as of lately for camping and outdoor activites. I've been looking at the Gransfors Bruks Wildlife hatchet and the Wetterlings Wildlife hatchet. I'm curious as to the difference between the two besides the actual cost which i'm aware of already.
I'm hoping someone here has some hands on experience with them and can possibly give me some advice on how they stackup in the outdoors. I'm wanting something light that can be carried in a pack if need be.
Thanks Doug

I have both and both are nice, GB better fit and finish as said and razor sharp. but I like the handle on my Wetterlings better and I can sharpen it. I shop pretty hard I bought both off Eck bey I got W for $27 a few years a go and I bought the GB from England around $75 a year or so ago after they converted pounds to dollars. but the prices keep going up, so keep out a sharp eye for a bargain.
