Gransfors Burk "ways to carry"

I recently purchased a Gransfors Burk Hunters Axe.

Can you show me some of your methods of carry? I would like to find a better way to carry it on my belt so that it is safe and quicker to get to.

Any pictures would be great.

I made this up for Heavy's Mini. Worn like a shoulder holster.

^ thats similar to what i do. I have the stock leather sheath with a nice piece of webbing that goes over my shoulder and the ax hangs low under my right arm.

Thanks for that link, I need one for my hunters Axe...that lil thing they give you just dont sit right with me. I have a bunch of there axe's and love them, just wish there sheaths were a bit more substantial.

4? years ago I got my GB min for 75 bucks which I thought was high, and now they are 140??? You can get a Lee Reeves for that!

Bushman, do you have any pictures of the combination? The hatchet and sheath, I know what beer looks like.

Look around in the least likely places and you still might find them for a decent price.

I picked up a hunters axe for $80 and have found a Scandinavian forest axe for $80 also. Hopefully it will still be there when I get the money.

I got the forest axe new at a gun show, and the forest axe is at a small sporting goods store.
