Gransfors mini hacthet or Bark river mini axe..

I have no experiece with the specific axes. but I bought a granfors hunter ax a year ago and it cuts so much better than anything I have ever used it is hard to believe. balance fatigue edge holding, Unbelievalbly good, cuts wood like butter.

Don't know anything about the bark river mini axe, but i have a gb wildlife hatchet and can recommend it fully. i've been using it for a year now regularly and i'm always amazed how much i can get done with it and how quickly and cleanly it cuts wood. The last job i did was make about 25ft of rustic fencing with it. the axe made light work of it . It was a pleasure to use such a good tool. I've never regretted buying it.

Most times brand hype and increased $ is just promotional sales success. Believe me I have been ripped off many time for the hottest new edge out there. There is real and true value in my only Granfors Bruks purchase last year-the Hunter ax made by KS. It surely is a total delight to use and worth twice the price to me now, for serious use. I second the comments of EM re absolute amazement every time I use it. It is an absolute jewel of supremely functional and classic beauty. Wish I could afford and needed some of the other axes they make.
I did just ask for the book that shows their tomahawks. Uh oh, very pricey-- but I would give them my hard money again without question for a product I could use that they make.
