Hello,

I am looking for a new graphics card right now. I currently have a Nvidia geforce 4 MX which is no longer able to play a lot of the new games. I would like to spend under 200$ although cheaper is better. I am also looking for TV in. A lot of the ones I find have svideo out but no in. Thanks for the help.

I got a WinFast A350 Ultra TDH that's based on the Nvidia GeForce FX5900 core with 128mb of DDR memory for around $200.00. It's fully directX9 compliant and rocks. I have it running in an Abit IS7 mobo with 512mb of Corsair XMS DDR433 memory and a P4C 2.4ghz overclocked to 3.12ghz. It is about the same price of the FX5700 Ultras I've seen. It has less memory than the FX5700 Ultra cards (only 128mb instead of 256mb), but has twice the number of pixel shaders and much mor ememory bandwidth.

I will admit to being a gamer and am biased in that direction and haven't tried out it's video capture capabilities, but it is equipped for video in/video out. It also supports DVI outputs.

The Magazines also talk up the ATI Radeon 9600 as a great mid range video card, but I've always been suspect of ATI's driver support so Nvidia got my money this time.

What will you be doing with the old one?
