Graphite slabs for platens

The graphite we normally use on platens is a graphite coated canvas. It is used as a padding when doing finishing work. Don't know of anyone who uses these solid blocks. Not even sure if you could attach it.

Sorry, I guess I wasn't paying attention (again, that A.D.D. lingers on....) The canvas makes sense. Guess you could drill and counter sink some holes in this stuff to screw it to something if you wanted to though.
