I'm grateful for many things just now -

For all the servicemen and women in harm's way around the world who make it possible for us to enjoy Thanksgiving with friends and family, for a very good hunting season now completed with lots of meat in the freezer, for a wife who is working with me to manage a little health problem and for all my Becker Friends!

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

A most Happy Thanksgiving to you, your most lovely wife and, of course to Psyop and his crew....... I hope your health issue remains small and turns out to be trivial.......

All Best.....

I expect it will turn out fine and not get in the way of a return to Becker Mountain in the spring, should we be so fortunate as to have another gathering next year. :-)

Happy Thanksgiving Beckerheads!

I'm grateful to be able to spend the day with my family.
I've met a lot of good friends here on the forum and I'm thankful to be a part of it.

I can barely explain how thankful I am for Ethan and the Beckerheads. I got involved with these rascals because I joined in a W&SS bushcraft knife challenge a couple years ago... Moose heard about that and offered the services of Beckerheads to test all the knives in an unbiased manner, since y'all had a Gathering coming up anyway. Lucky for me, I live close enough that I was able to pop down for the day and see what was going on.

Those boys tested every knife with brutal honesty, and examined 'em in every way you could think of. I was impressed with their dedication to the task, and their knowledge of what to look for.

More importantly, I was greeted with open arms and made to feel welcome among people I'd never met before.

My knife did not win that challenge. But I learned a LOT, and I was blessed to start friendships with a boatload of people that continue to help me learn and grow as a knifemaker and a human being. I consider Ethan to be a mentor and a role model... it's hard to even list how much he's taught me about all sorts of things. I'm extremely proud and grateful to be a small part of the Becker community. Thank you all very much, ladies and gentlemen.

If anyone is hungry and in the Knoxville area... stop on by. We have plenty food and drink to share. :)

Happy Thanksgiving to all my cross boarder brothers and sisters. All the best from my family and I! Enjoy your evening with family and friends, and have a few for me!

I am grateful for the chance to stir the coals and chew the fat vicariously by keyboard light with ya'll. Enjoy your triptophan induced comas! :drunk:
