Since I was just lucky enough to win an awesome sodbuster (Thanks again!) and I just got a job and things are going well for me...well, time for another give away. I was thinking what one of my knives I would give away when inspiration struck. I've given away some of my knives. Never given away a brand new knife.

Been a lot of debate about the Peanut lately. So, I just bought a yellow CV peanut. You want in, post once, and tell me your thoughts about the peanut. If you haven't ever carried one, this is a good chance to change that.

I figure it will arrive in the mail in 5 days or so. I'll do the drawing once it gets here. My daughter will pull a name from a hat. This is a brand new knife and, love it or hate it, pretty dang traditional.

I also think this is kind of cool, because I have owned peanuts before, but never a Case and I just got myself one, too a few days ago to celebrate the job. So, I got two peanuts coming in the mail. One will stay with me. One will go to the winner. Start your engines.

Pics are always welcome.

Not an entry...bad carma to give one away and get one back asap. My favorite peanut ever...Joel Chamblin. Sold it to a friend on BF. Miss it and sometimes wish I had it back

Chamblin knives are awesome...I think I saw his name floating around here somewhere......hmmmmmm

While I have no experience with the pattern, I am interested in trying it, mostly to see what a smaller knife can do.

Thanks for the giveaway.

I have never had a peanut. I had a OldTimer stockman????? Once as a kid. It was stolen from me when I was in grade school.

After that I never bought a replacement.

I have been eying an Elephant toe/Sunfish lately.

Just recently I acquired a Camillus 21 peanut which I found very attractive and it surprised me how easy it is to use for general EDC cutting jobs. I am so satisfied with this knife that I've decided it will be my companion on my 2 weeks summer vacation in the US.

Can't get much more traditional than a yeller peanut. Glad to hear things are looking up for ya...

Great gesture and a terrific knife, but please don't include me in the drawing

I'll try.
Never carried a peanut or even handled one actually.
Thanks for the shot :)

I've never owned a peanut, but have often come close to pulling the trigger. What has always held me back is the size. I know, I know. Everyone says the size of the peanut is its allure, but I've found that I prefer knives in the 3 1/4 to 3 3/8 inch range. Admittedly, I've never tried a knife smaller than GEC's barlow (a stout 3 inches). But, I always circle back to the size. One day I will try one. But some other knife always ends up higher on the list.

Thanks for the chance...and congratulations on the sodbuster and the job.

Thanks for the opportunity. Never carried a peanut but the traditional knives are catching my attention more and more every day. Id love to show this one off.

Thanks for the give away, and I'm glad things are going good for you!
I have not owned a peanut, but I very much enjoy Case knives because of their classic look, plus they are made here in the USA!
I do own a Case Canoe in the Amber bone, and I love it! I also got my dad an old red worn bone small stockman for fathers day, and he loves it. He carries it everyday, and is his new favorite knife.
Thanks, and good luck to all

I've never had a traditional knife so I's love to try one, and it looks like a great EDC.

What the heck, a yeller CV peanut would look good with my little group of yeller EDCs - please include me in this great giveaway.

I've owned a Case peanut for about a month, but never used it since it bit me real hard twice. I'm going to guess that I had an evil, cursed peanut and am willing to give the highly lauded little slippie a second chance. Thanks for your generous gesture, the kindness of folks on this forum is inspirational.

Count me in, but only if the yellow peanut isn't cursed ;)

I haven't carried a knife without a pocket clip for year, but have been thinking about it.
Glad to hear things are going good for you. Thanks for the chance!

Not for me, but I have a 9 year old boy who would be proud to have it as his first knife.
I was going to buy him an Opinel after asking for recommendations from people on this forum, but having recently been converted to peanuts myself, I'm now torn between the two.
I reckon a CV peanut in yeller is probably the ultimate 'first knife', so on behalf of him, I'm in.
Thanks for the chance :)
