Picked this up at Country Knives in Intercourse yesterday.
I've had the previous version in Micarta with AUS-8 and I must say, the Gray one with VG-10 is an improvement.
I got 2 words for ya: Pocket Scalpel
How bout 3 words: Pocket Light Saber
Absolutely the sharpest blade I've ever seen or used.
QC is OK.
There is the tiniest bit of horiz blade wiggle when locked up, and the blade isn't centered when closed.
But these facts in no way detract from the use of the knife.
The handle is very well conceived with the choil and shaping of the FRN forming another finger rest for the index finger during precise cutting. The Boye detent in the lock release is nicely machined. Overall, the handle is a perfect fit for my med hand.
This is my first FRN handled knife and I must say it's nice and light. The scales look cool and give a good grip.
However, it is a bit flexy.
The clip is a very cool gray color with the black beetle painted/powdercoated on.
Nice knife overall.
