My latest in my quest for the prefect Edc. I wont bore with the technical details since they can be found on the Grayman web page. This is one tank of a knife. In hand it feels like a quality product when you compare it to similar priced knives. I have Striders, Sebenzas, Three Sisters Forge and various others, but this knife really does it for me. The edge is what I expected from all the comments on this site, but nothing that
cant be fixed. Grayman's sharpening instructions were to use a coarse Arkansas and a ceramic rod to finish. Here are some pictures of my
knife. Enjoy.

Knife is worth every dollar :)

I have heard really good things about Grayman knives, I really would like to hold that model in particular. Havent made the leap yet to buy it without holding it.

Knife is worth every dollar :)

That it is. Have used mine as an edc for a bit and its buttery smooth now- blade just flies open. Flick-able with no wrist action.

Frame-lock also disengages smoothly; no catching or metal grinding sound. When the lock is first engaged there is no up/down blade-play, but there is some left/right movement. However, when the handle is gripped tighter for harder use and the index finger pushes down on the frame-lock; no blade play in any direction, but the lock will catch a little bit after such applied pressure. Lock-up is at 50%.

It's amazing how well the dlc has held up, excellent in fact.

The working edge has for the most part, been sharpened out (still some traces of it here and there- just got to use it more to warrant a sharpening) and it didn't take off too much metal.

It's been a joy to break in and more enjoyable to use.
