As many of you know I have become a huge fan of Grayman knives. I love the fact that they re not perfect. I love that Mike is making each one by hand, not running some crazy expensive cnc machine. I love the fact that he has created each one of his knives with his hands. It seems almost everything metal that you buy now has been created by a computer and some kind of cutting machine. I love that Mikes knives dont look like William Henrys. They are just plain 100% USDA Prime beef! Just got my first fixed blade by them. Its a Mega Pounder 6. And MEGA it is! After I opened the box and took her out, I admired her for a few seconds and then something told me to just hack away at the box! It was wonderful. Like a hot knife thru butter. If you havent hacked apart something in a long time id highly recommend it. Kind of the same feeling you get after sending some rounds down range. It kind of reminds me of my ESEE 5. Maybe add a couple of anabolic steroid cycles. I honestly didnt expect quite the beast that i ve gotten. Not saying thats a bad thing. I love this knife! I cant wait to get out in the woods and hack away! Please use this thread if you d like to post all your Grayman knife pics and comments. And check out the other grayman threads on BF!!
A few shots of my new puppy! I know its the season to give but maybe I can buy myself one more Grayman fixed blade first!? :D

Grayman knives are just awesome. One of the best values out there.

That is a pretty nice pair of knives there. One day I will own a Grayman Dua.
Have you used it at all yet? Does he put the same edge on his fixed blades as his folders?

Thanks for sharing.

Just hacked the box apart so far! lol! They say the edge is their normal toothy working edge but this edge is quite a bit smoother than my folders that ive gotten. I agree about the value thing! I really, honestly dont think you can buy a better built knife for the money!! Especially the Duas! Those are something alot of makers would charge 4-$500 for! I would put a Dua up against any Strider any day of the week! I like Striders too! I just havent seen better tougher all around well built knives than Grays!!

Striderco,

That Pounder is awesome looking. I've been wanting to get a pounder, but just haven't decided on which size yet. Would love to see some user pics and your thoughts on how it handles/performs.

Can a person get it without the cheesy "Death to Al Qaeda" on it?
That's way too armchair commando for me.
But otherwise it looks pretty good.

I plan on hiking into the woods soon and hacking something to shreds with my pounder 6! Pics of course. Mike will engrave whatever you d like on a knife. Im getting a knife for my brother who is a "real" commando and Im going to have his branch of service engraved on it but not his unit bc he wud prob not carry it into battle. (in case he was captured or something) Lets see sum more Grayman knife pics! :D
