Grayman knives has been known for its rugged, overbuilt, and near unbreakable fixed blades for some time. The next step of course was a folder and the Satu does not disappoint.

Like many Grayman knives the Satu is massive. It makes other knives look like toys in comparison.
With a CQC-7

With a Super CQC-8...yes a SUPER!

Each is individually numbered out of the intial run of 50

Its certainly heavy duty and came with a good working edge but not shaving sharp. I was able to get it shave easily with a diamond file and ceramic rod.
Some notes of interest are that it takes some time and patience to find the sweet spot with the pivot, where it opens easily but doesn't have enough play for the tip to rub on the liner while opening. The lock up was early and good.
The clip is very tight, a good thing for the very active (running, jumping, etc) and may also have been designed to prevent overtravel of the lockbar but that's more speculation. I'd like to see a MOLLE compatible sheath offered for it but beyond that I'm very satisfied.
