Grease

Got a new Warcraft tanto, awesome blade. Does anybody have a good way to clean the grease out of the sheath? :witless:

WD40 works fairly well for removing the grease from the knife, so I imagine it would also work in the sheath to help break down the grease for easy removal.

Grease in the sheath? They ship 'em in the sheath now.

Yes, my knife was in the sheath when I opened it. Not sure if that is normal.

That is normal for the Warcraft series. They come sheathed, but with a layer of grease because of the carbon steel and exposed edge. Had to wipe a couple down before displaying them for sale at the Indy 1500 Gun & Knife Show last weekend.
