Hello all,
I seen some of these knives at an antique mall and was wondering about them. There was a stockman and a congress. The shield and the box was in relation to an American story, one was "Johnny Reb" and the other had something to do with the gold rush. The box had the name Wiss on it. I guess my question is about when were they made and what might they're value be?
I did handle one of the knives and to be honest it did not feel that high of quality. Though I have never held a German Boker in hand before, I would assume that the quality would be top notch.
Thanks for any information you could give.

They were made in the 1970's, when the
Wiss Tool Co. ran the company. We
have no idea what they are worth,
but they were made here in the USA,
and not in the Boker factory in Germany.
That was before Germany got the Boker name back in the US.
Thanks, Terry

Terry ,
Thanks for the info. I might pick one up to have as an example. I have a pair of sheet metal sheers made by Wiss. Did wiss make them or were they contracted to a different company. Thanks again for your time.
