Just had to gloat.

I just received a package with two books I bought on ebay. One was an uncirculated copy of Bo Bergman's,"Knifemaking", and the other was an uncirculated copy of Barney/Lovless's ,"How to Make Knives". I paid $30 ,including shipping. Bo's book is getting harder and harder to find, and I don't lend my copy easily. Now, with a backup, I can lend it more freely. It is hard to find a worn copy for less than $80 anymore.

I have a couple Puuko's in the work stack. Maybe I'll do a WIP on a Bergman style birchbark handle Sammi style knife.

For those who don't....checking ebay often for items that you wish for is just plain smart. A few years back, I snapped up clean copy of "The Antique Bowie Knife Book" for $125.

I'm jealous of the Bo Bergman find, those prices are crazy

I'll add you to the list, Will.

Seriously guys, keep an eye on ebay and Craig's list. You won't believe the things offered at way too low....and nobody bids on it. In recent years I have also picked up a bottle of JW Blue label for $70, a complete coal forge setup for $40, and a 115# anvil for $50.
