GREAT cheap knives!!

Look for NAVY brand knives on the bay. Cheap as hell but built very very well. Supposedly the manufacturer is the same that does the Byrd line for Spyderco. keepem sharp

I've seen the Tramontina brand at WallyWorld - kitchen knives. I didn't think they were made in Brazil... I thought they were PRC-made items. I asked my cat, Elmer, what he thought about your review - we both got bored - and dizzy - while you were talking about the sheath.

Aren't 'Great' and 'cheap' oxymorons when used to describe a knife? I asked Elmer to look it up - he agreed! But then, he is a lazy spoiled kitty! Neat knife, though...

Looks like it's chrome plated. I enjoyed the video though with a FFW through the sheath. A big ol' bottle opener for opening Cerveza's? Only in Brasil ay? :D

Well, off the top of my head. The Tenacious by Spyderco, followed closely by the Persistence. Top rated low dollar high quality knives here! I have owned both and still have the Tenacious. Hard to find fault with these made in China or not.

The Mini Lawman, and Mini AK-47 by Cold Steel. I have owned both, still have the mini AK and love it. Great knife, super lock up on either model capable of holding up to a lot of abuse for a mere $50 plus or minus investment. Hard to find fault here with these Taiwan made precision knives.

Kershaw JYDII. Top rated USA made product here for sure. One of my all time favorite Kershaw knives and a great deal of bang for the buck. Hard to beat this one at all if "Made in the USA" means anything to you at all.

Kershaw Leek is another top rated inexpensive value in the industry just like its little brother the Scallion. The Kershaw line up has a lot of great USA made products and a lot of them can be had in frame lock or liner lock like the Leek and JYDII and for great prices for quality USA made products! The JYD I is another fine model, as is the Shallot, and Vapor. Most all of these offer great bang for the buck value IMO.

Yup, I love my Random Leek from Kershawguy, a 1660TGRYST S30V framelock, like a scalpel and faster than any of my autos
