About 3 months ago a chap dropped by my shop to order 6 custom sheaths and a hunting bag. He then ordered 2 more bags for his hunting buddies and now a 4th bag for his 9 year old Son ( what a great Dad ))). In the end he ordered a pocket knife sheath and a "loop" for hanging a jacket or gloves etc and then he wanted a hawk for his boy so this is the end result. Lucky young man with a great Dad.:D
Heres some pics.
The bag is cowhide with a snap out second pouch inside for hunting docs. and wallet etc. The closer is a nice crown and I did an antiquey "name plate" with a brass tack B on a nice piece of Mammoth ivory.

Best regards

Robin

nice work.. i bet his son is going to love it, my boys would love one of those..:)

Wonderful work! I started carrying a knife when I was 7 (not at school) and would have loved a gift like this. I'm sure he will treasure this his whole life.

I'm sure young Brandon will be lovin his life on Christmas morning. I got my first hunting knife at 9 but a tomahawk is a whole different thing, the bag is simply a bonus.

Thanks for all the kind comments folks, very much appreciated.

Best regards

Robin

Thanks for all the comments folks. Dad came to pick up the bag yesterday and was figuring that his Son was going to love it. I told him that some of you guys wanted to be adopted, he said two kids is enough ;-))

So now I'm waiting for someone to quip, "You can't have that! You'll shoot your eye out!":D Or haven't they shown that yet this year?

Seriously, beautiful work!
