Great Customer Service Experience

I sent an email on the CRK website a week or so ago regarding the purchase of a company patch of sorts. I explained that after having used my 25 to breakout a windshield in an auto accident, I had become a fan for life and wanted to show some CR pride. They got back to me the next day and were pleased to here that the 25 was there for me even though it was not designed as a rescue tool. They also said that once they became available they would send some patches my way free of charge! I was so surprised to receive such a personal email wishing me well and expressing a genuine concern for what happened. Just wanted to share my pleasure and surprise!
 
Very nice! BTW, how did you use the knife to break the windshield, given that it doesn't have a glass-breaker?

You don't need a dedicated glass-breaker to smash a windscreen. When I was in Afghanistan I used my Randal modal 1 to save a guy out of a burning car.
 
Lots of excessive banging, it helped a bit. There's a thread about it somewhere on here where I tell the story
