great detail - mistake

Okay, Not many of my friends will understand, so I had to post this here.
I was at Home Depot last Thursday looking for a new toy, errr, I mean tool. Walking down the aisle, I noticed out of the corner of my eye that Leatherman Kick and Wave were both priced at $29.86.
I called over an associate to check the price. The Wave was coming up as a Kick and they didn't know what was going on, but they wanted to make a sale...so I bought 4 Waves at $29.86/ea.
I was geeked.

I actually had a customer in my store just the other day looking at the Leatherman Wave, he was curious how much we sell it for, ($89 CAD -20%) and was shocked at the price... apparently in Australia, they're over $200... (it was my turn to be shocked)

Yup, went into a mall in Brisbane for the first time, Buck 110 @ AUD$120.00!!

Yow! I paid USD $20 for mine on sale at a local gun shop, and Buck 110s can be found at $30-40 regularly almost anywhere in the US they are sold.

OTOH, I don't think folks in Australia would like to swap their health care costs for ours.

That is awesome!!!!!! You lucked out for sure! Maybe I'll have to stop by my local Home Depot...
